Overview

This website is operated by Vulcan Storage Solutions Ltd. (“we”, “us”, “our”). By using this website or buying from our online store, you agree to these Terms of Service and the policies linked from this site, including our Cancellation & Refund Policy and Privacy Policy.

Our online store is hosted on Shopify Inc., which provides the e-commerce platform we use to sell our services.

1. Storage rentals are governed by the Storage Rental Agreement

Every storage unit or stall rental is also subject to our Storage Rental Agreement, which you sign before move-in. The Agreement covers rent, fees, access, use of the space, insurance, liability, default and move-out. If these Terms conflict with your signed Storage Rental Agreement, the Agreement governs your rental.

2. Using the online store

You must be at least the age of majority in your province or territory of residence to buy from us. You may not use our services for any illegal or unauthorized purpose, or transmit viruses or other harmful code. We may refuse service to anyone for any lawful reason.

3. Accuracy of information

We try to keep information on this site accurate and current, but it is provided for general information only. Unit and stall sizes are approximate. We may correct errors, inaccuracies or omissions, including in pricing or availability, and may cancel an order affected by an error.

4. Prices and changes to services

Prices for new rentals may change at any time. For current customers, rent changes take effect only after at least 30 days’ written notice by email, as set out in the Storage Rental Agreement. Services shown as “Coming soon” are not yet available for purchase. We may modify or discontinue a service, subject to your rights under the Storage Rental Agreement.

5. Billing and account information

You agree to provide current, complete and accurate purchase and account information, and to keep your email address and payment details up to date. We may refuse or cancel an order, and will contact you using the email or phone number you provided if we do.

6. Subscriptions, cancellations and refunds

Rentals are billed as subscriptions that renew automatically. Cancellations and refunds are handled under our Cancellation & Refund Policy and the Storage Rental Agreement.

7. Third-party tools and links

We use third-party services such as Shopify for payments and PalGate for gate access. Your use of those services is also subject to their own terms. We are not responsible for third-party websites or services that we do not control.

8. Comments and feedback

If you send us suggestions or feedback, we may use them without restriction or payment to you. You agree that anything you send us will not be unlawful, misleading or infringe anyone’s rights.

9. Personal information

Personal information you submit through this website or our Storage Rental Agreement is handled under our Privacy Policy.

10. Prohibited uses

You may not use this site or its content for any unlawful purpose; to harass, abuse or discriminate against others; to submit false or misleading information; to upload malicious code; to collect others’ personal information; to spam, scrape or crawl the site; or to interfere with its security features.

11. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

This website is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of this website. Liability relating to stored vehicles and goods is governed by the Storage Rental Agreement.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Vulcan Storage Solutions Ltd. and its owners, staff and agents from any claim, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your breach of these Terms or your violation of any law or third-party right.

13. Severability

If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.

14. Termination

You may stop using this website at any time. Ending a storage rental is handled under the Storage Rental Agreement and our Cancellation & Refund Policy. We may suspend your access to this website if you breach these Terms. Amounts owing before termination remain payable.

15. Entire agreement

These Terms, our posted policies and, for storage rentals, your Storage Rental Agreement form the entire agreement between you and us. Our failure to enforce any right is not a waiver of it.

16. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.

17. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms by posting changes on this page. Changes to the terms of an existing storage rental are made under the Storage Rental Agreement, with at least 30 days’ written notice.
